Wellington Group of Companies acquires Contract Express
The Wellington Group of Companies has acquired Guelph, Ont.-based Contract Express.
“Contract Express has proudly operated with a home base in Guelph for almost 40 years. As part of WGOC, they will continue business as usual, adding new trucks, trailers, warehousing, and special expertise to our team,” the company said in a news release.
Founded in 1985, Contract Express operates a fleet of more than 20 tractors.
“This has been in the process for some time,” Derek Koza, CEO of Wellington Group of Companies, based in Puslinch, Ont., said. “We truly feel Contract Express is the perfect addition to our growing business.”
