FleetUp and RoadFlex integrate to tackle fuel fraud and theft

by Today's Trucking

FleetUp and RoadFlex have combined to offer fleets protection against fraudulent fuel costs, noting it’s common for fleets to lose more than 10% of their fuel spend to fraud and theft.

The two companies have integrated to automate fleet expense management and fuel management, from data collection to reporting. Customers can streamline fleet operations with fuel risk management, savings automation and real-time vehicle analytics, the companies say.

RoadFlex software offers fleet managers visibility into every fuel purchase with customizable spending controls tailored to different employees and titles. Fleet managers can limit where drivers purchase fuels and define spending limits.

Unapproved purchases will be blocked and the fleet manager alerted in real time.

The combined offering verifies purchases are made by the appropriate employee and vehicle, while blocking and flagging suspicious transactions.

“By integrating our fleet management platform with RoadFlex’s fuel management tools, we provide a comprehensive solution to prevent fuel fraud and streamline operations. FleetUp and RoadFlex are committed to delivering essential technology that helps users and their fleet operators stay ahead in an increasingly competitive market,” said Ezra Kwak, CEO of FleetUp.

“Connected fleet operations are more important than ever. An integration with FleetUp helps our mutual customers make more intelligent decisions. This is the new era of fleet automation. Customers save an average of over 10 hours weekly by automating fleet expense management and other administrative tasks,” added Dennis Chang, CEO of RoadFlex.
