Bio-Plus fuel injector cleaner reduces emissions

Renewable Lubricants introduced its Bio-Plus injector cleaner, a synthetic biobased product that it claims enhances engine performance for fuel-injected vehicles. The company said tests indicate a 15% improvement in fuel efficiency and an 18% reduction in exhaust emissions with the use of synthetic polymeric dispersants.

“Formulated to provide excellent intake valve cleanliness and ensure clean, efficient combustion in fuel-injected and carburetor-equipped engines, Bio-Plus is an ideal choice for all grades of gasoline, including those containing oxygenates. It will not affect octane ratings or harm catalytic converters,” a news release said.

The cleaner combines synthetic polymeric dispersants, antioxidants, demulsifier components, and anti-corrosive agents to provide essential cleaning and maintenance for intake valves and combustion chambers.

Renewable Lubricants says its product reduces valve issues, restores power, and results in smoother acceleration and less stalling at idle. Polymeric dispersants prevent particles from settling or agglomerating, keeping injectors clean, minimizing crankcase oil dilution, and protecting the fuel system from corrosion without harming oxygen sensors.
