Trucker Tools launches temperature tracking tool

Trucker Tools has launched its Cold Chain Load Tracking feature, addressing the growing demand for monitoring temperature-sensitive shipments such as food, beverages, flowers, chemicals, and medical products.

The company says its new feature enhances the company’s existing freight-tracking technology, providing end-to-end, real-time visibility for perishable goods.

The tool’s customizable location and temperature alerts notify users instantly if a shipment’s temperature deviates from the expected range, monitoring the temperature from the moment a shipment is picked up until its delivery.

While the offering also offers comprehensive data logging with customizable temperature ranges for multi-zone trailers, shippers and brokers can monitor their cargo through a web portal or direct integration within their transportation management system (TMS), the company said in a news release.

“We strive to equip brokers and carriers with the tools they need to improve their service, build trust, and ensure the safe delivery of temperature-sensitive freight,” said Kary Jablonski, chief executive officer of Trucker Tools.
